One of the worst things about flying is the waiting interval. I honestly don’t like waiting for my flight; but based on my experience of flying from one country to the other, I have finally compiled things to do in order to cope with the waiting period.
MAKE SURE TO BRING YOUR LAPTOP
Laptop is my savior. No, I guess Netflix and Youtube is. So whenever I got bored while waiting for my flight, I always watch Netflix and Youtube. Sometimes I work too (like writing this blog post while I’m transiting in Kuala Lumpur and heading to Manila).
BUY SOME BOOKS
I have to say that I am not an avid reader at all. I read some books, but this is not my go-to things to do. This is Kalvin’s. He loves reading and I know some of you love reading too so I put this in the list. I think the key here is to buy the book in the airport instead of taking it with you from home. Also, buy the pocket sized books.
ENJOY THE LOUNGE
I love lounges – and lately I am super hooked by JCB lounges. They provide the best lounge for JCB card holder, especially when I travel to Singapore and Japan. There are two types of lounges you can try. First one is the JCB Plaza Lounge. This is a special lounge for JCB card holder to enjoy reservation service, free coffee and internet, luggage drop, as well as travel and special promo information. Another thing is JCB plaza lounge, located in Orchard Road Singapore – where you can chill in between your shopping sessions. Super convenient!
The second one is the Airport lounge, that you can normally enjoy in the airport for free of charge or special price and free drink or light meal. Amazing deal!
Also, one of the best perks as a JCB card holder is the golden bird service. The golden bird is the airport transfer that is very comfortable, convenient, and punctual, especially in the weird clock. For example for the flights before sunrise or in the middle of the night.
