Fashion trends change rapidly; so I totally understand how money consuming fashion could be if we spend every dime to follow every new fad around. But before we splurge all our hard-earned money in new seasons of Chanel or Zara, I would recommend giving new life to old pieces that we were about to retire.
So today I will be sharing about new ways to wear your old clothes. Be prepared to dig out your closet and spice up your everyday dressing.
LAYER, LAYER, LAYER
Remember that mini or midi dresses you bought two summers ago? You only wore it once to a wedding, but now you can dig it up again with a white button-up and pair it with some sneakers for a street style. You can also layer it with turtlenecks and pair it with some slippers for that effortlessly cool look.
BE CREATIVE IN HOWEVER YOU WANT TO WEAR IT
There are no written rules on how to wear some pieces – so we can always wear it however we like. I have worn this turtleneck for quite some time now, but I always find a new way to wear it. Another example is to drape blazers or jacket over our shoulders.
PAIR IT UP
Besides layering, you can try to pair your mini or midi dresses with some pants. Some people might pair it with boyfriend jeans as well – depending on the looks you are after.
EXPERIMENT AWAY
Take out your shirt dress, and instead of wearing it as a normal shirt dress, you can always wear it as an outerwear. This can be a comfortable go-to look whenever you are looking for something comfortable but still fashionable and chic.
