Fashion is so much like music: first, you learn how to play, and then you play by heart. That is, more or less, the fundamental principle of fashion.

First, you have to find out what suits you in terms of shape. And then, you can try adding some oomph with print and texture. Afterward, you can express your personality and character through your choice of clothes and forget what’s safe. The key is to have fun!

Now with that in mind, you can now update your outfit without buying new ones. That’s what I did for my outfit of the day. The key here is layering. I layer my long-sleeved shirt with a tube pleated top and ruffled skirt. I have to admit that the pair is quite quirky, but I guess there’s no harm to stretch our fashion reach every now and then. To add more edges to my whole look, I finished it off with white sneakers and classic socks.
