January 5, 2015

Hi guys, I finally able to update about my second treatment of Alpha Light Hair Removal at Pink Parlour. If you haven’t read my first article, proceed here to read the details and introduction about Pink Parlour. Let me give you a reminder about Alpha Light hair removal. It is a system to get rid of unwanted hair in a jiffy and it is also semi-permanent. All you have to do is to take 7 Alpha Light Sessions and  Voila! It will make your hair grows a lot slower. After you done with all the sessions, you will only need to get back once a year to maintain the hair growth. They are less painful compared to IPL as they only use 640nm. So are you ready to say goodbye to plucking/shaving/waxing your underarm hair every week? I have no time for that…

I visited the one in Pacific Place few weeks ago while they still have pretty Christmas Decorations at the store! After waiting for about 15 minutes, I was asked to enter the Alpha Light room 🙂

The Steps are basically the same as the first one. So you just have to repeat these sessions for 7 times. This eye cover is used to protect the eyes from the light. As the machine’s light are actually harmful for the eyes. Furthermore, she gave me the cooling gel and spread it with an ice pack so you will a bit numb. She then proceed to the “Alpha light gun” and blast it to both of my armpits. You will feel a little bit of ant-bites during the process. It lasts for only about 5 minutes. Finally, she spread a cooling toner to calm my skin and I’m good to go.

Important Information: As I’ve said before, you should grow your hair at least 2mm long for this Alpha Light session. I’ve grown more hair then my first session so I can see that the hair was burnt and curled because of the process. And that’s how it supposed to be done. After 5 days of the Alpha session, the hair will fall out by itself or you can use body scrub to help exfoliate the dead hair.
