Makeover & Styling Project by Olivia Lazuardy

Monochrome color never goes wrong.
New York Fashion Week Street Style.
I always love basic colors especially monochrome because for me they are timeless and elegant. I browse through NY Fashion Week Street Style and these are some of my favorites. Simple solid bold color, textures and layers really represent my style. We can create a lot of looks by using basic colors. It depends on how we choose the silhouette of the outfits itself. I can see a lot of people are wearing outer as their favorite fashion item (I do to! If you bought Looks Magazine June Edition, you can see a special Outer wardrobe in my room). Well, there is always a good reason why it becomes everyone’s favorite. A simple piece can change the whole look instantly! You can create a professional, smart and chic look. I decided to make a Fashion Spread inspired by the mood board above.

I decided to play with some layering. You can see varieties of textures here. I pair lace top, with a long vest, sheer blazer and an asymmetrical skirt (wardrobe by HERSPOT).
