I have to admit: flying is my least favourite part of traveling. Especially when it comes to a long flight. So probably just like you, the first thing that comes to mind when I have a schedule for a long flight is the outfits. The outfit that I wear on the plane will be the first thing I’ll wear on the destination – so it certainly has to say at least a little something about fashion. But, I also have to make sure that my clothes will get me past security swiftly and make me comfortable during my one or 13-hour flight.

Hence for today’s travel and fashion tips, I am listing out 5 easy tips to keep your flight comfortable while still looking good.

THE LONGLINE OUTERWEAR

Longline outerwear is everywhere this season. It is chic and sleek at the same time – not to mention comfortable because it is a blanket in disguise. Plus, it allows you to cover up any super basic clothes under the layer. Pro-tip: use layers instead of thick, warm clothes. It is because as of the weather adjustment from one country to the other, as well as different situations at the airports and the plane, you have to make sure you can take off the outerwear when it feels warmer and put it back on when it feels colder.

SLIP-ONS

Instead of sandals or sneakers, it will be way more comfortable to wear slip-ons. It makes trekking through an airport becomes easier than any other comfortable footwear. A slip-on is also easy to take it off and put it back on during security as well as on the flight. Also, it won’t require you to retie your entire shoes for so many times. On the plus note, slip-ons are on trend, so it will give you a touch of good fashion.

JEGGINGS

Good jeggings are one of the most awesome fashion inventions ever. It is super comfortable. It makes you look tall. It make fat jeans obsolete. It is the perfect thing you need for a long flight.

SUNGLASSES

Sunglasses is a saviour; especially during a long flight. Long flights will make you look wiped out – so your sunglasses will come to rescue. Sunglasses will cover your tired eyes (and possible eye bags) – and it will give you an instant boost of chic.

RED LIPSTICK

As mentioned before, long flights are exhausting – or at least, it will make you look wiped out. So apart from sunglasses, I think it is such a great idea to put on red lipstick that will make you look super fresh and sharp. Put it on with your sunglasses, and you are insta-ready.
