Suede everywhere! It’s time to bring back the 70’s! Rock n’ Roll people!  But in all seriousness, it’s all over the stores here in Jakarta. This autumn won’t be complete without a touch of suede in your wardrobe. Believe me, it is a must-have-item this season.

I was doing an Autumn-themed shot with Mario The Nine, and I layered my brown suede vest with white ruffle top to give it a little touch of retro. I paired them with a suede A-line skirt in a similar colour tone. You can’t have too much suede in one look!

Finally, most people will pair those softly colored smudgy chalk tones with a nice pair of boots. But as we live in a country without real autumn season, I think gladiator sandal is the perfect substitute.

Suede can be a little bit tricky. It adds a hippy vibe to the look, and the thing is we want to bring back the 70’s vibe. But you don’t want to look too hippie. I’d like to layer it up so it isn’t hippie overload. Peace & Love y’all.
