The day I wrote this post is our wedding anniversary. Kal, we did it! We thrived being married for two years.

Two years seem to go by so fast. These past two years, we have gone through a lot of highs and lows – and I am so grateful to have you as my partner. I scrolled through my phone and found so many raw, unposted pictures of us, being reminded of our times together. Regardless of how you and I looked in the pictures, they made me happy.

Because it’s you and me.

Not only for the happy times, Kal, I am also grateful for the tears we shared together and difficult conversations in the middle of frustration. Those moments are constant reminders that I am with the best partner I could ever asked for, because of how comforting it is to go through everything with my best friend.

Everyone said that the honeymoon phase is the best phase in the marriage life – but I disagree. The honeymoon phase is amazing. But the more I know you, the more I could feel at home. The more I couldn’t wait for more adventure, more laughter, more challenges with you – either the ones we face together or the ones we shared as a couple.
