THE TOP 3 DESTINATIONS TO SPEND SUMMER THIS YEAR

July 8, 2018

Although living in a country with only two seasons makes me insusceptible to the word ‘summer’, I still enjoy beaches in general.

For us Indonesians, an amazing island with exceptional beaches is only several hours away (and without visa) – but I still looking forward to exploring different tropical islands around the world every once in a while. In case you are planning your summer holiday, today is about my top 3 places to spend summer this year. So scroll on!

BALI

It goes without saying that Bali is on top of the list. I visit Bali too often I lost count – but this island still mesmerizes me every time. For those of you who are planning to visit Bali anytime soon and is your first time there, there are several options for Bali.

Bali is amazing for the fact that it is an island, not too small to get bored there but not too big to become a metropolitan city. There are so many things to do there, so depending on your ideal holiday, you may spend your time in different parts of Bali.

For instance, if you are the leisure kind-of tourist and your ideal holiday is to get a really good massage, you may stay somewhere near Nusa Dua and Uluwatu. It is a little bit far from the city centre, but they have amazing ocean view. If you are the kind of real tourists, you may find a lot of temples in Kuta or Ubud. And if you are looking for amazing food and a nice place to spend a night out, you may stay in Seminyak area.

PULO CINTA

I have mentioned about Pulo Cinta right here. That is the complete guide for Pulo Cinta. I won’t go too deep into this, but I think this is worth mentioning. Pulo Cinta is not as international as Bali – and obviously, it is a pretty tiny island. But the beach is amazing and the water is super clear. It is said to be Indonesia’s Maldives, which is pretty much correct. I really recommend you to stay here around 3 or 4 nights.

AMANPULO

Anything Aman group builds is simply amazing. There is Amanjiwo in Java near Candi Borobudur and I heard it is super amazing. I haven’t been there but I have been to Amanpulo, Philippines. It has one of the most breathtaking beaches I have ever seen. Although it is quite costly, I think it is worth the money!
