Apart from my outfits and people’s curiosity of how I fit the clothes into the luggages, I also got tons of questions regarding my makeup, such as: “How long does it take for you to get ready?”, “Do you do full makeup everyday when traveling?”

Especially when I travel with people, I usually try to minimize the time of me getting ready – which means, I need to be very efficient in terms of doing my makeup everyday. Today, I’ll be sharing my basic tips to do my makeup when traveling.

I have five basic steps that I always, always do. First is applying the primer. The primer is a must. I personally think that the primer sets my makeup for a longer period of time – which is especially important when traveling.

Second is the base or foundation or CC cream. The base or foundation or CC cream is on top of the primer. Most of the time, I go with the CC cream because it is very light, has full coverage, but it still keeps the skin looking fresh and not cakey at all.  

Third is the powder. The powder sets my makeup in place. Fourth is the eyebrow – because that’s a wisdom saying that half of a woman’s dignity is in the eyebrows (me. I said that all the time). And fifth is the lipstick. Red lipstick is the best go-to lipstick for any occasion, particularly when I am too lazy to put on eye makeups, but doesn’t want to look tired.

All of these only take 15 minutes to apply! If I am not in a hurry, I can always add steps of shadings and eye makeups – which will take another 15 minutes. But these basic steps are good enough to go. And oh! This is why I always do the eyelash extensions before traveling. It saves me a lot of time.
