Suki the Label x Olivia Lazuardy dress | Pomelo hat | Byo clutch | Lost & Found shoes | Swarovski jewellery
The fourth day of Digital Fashion Week 2016 was as amazing. I met a lot of talented fashion figures and we had a great catch up.
Here’s what was on that day: Ong Shunmugam, Stolen, Naeem Khan and Arissa Cheo.
Ong Shunmugam is a contemporary womenswear label. The collection is all about crafting modern wardrobe on cut and fit instead of fast fashion. I love how they shifted traditional textile techniques, colours and silhouettes to showing current-season designs while persevering the beauty of the culture in each outfit.
Stolen is a ready-to-wear Singaporean label. The label brought a strong sense of minimalism whether in cut, silhouette or colours – in which I find it easy to love. While maintaining simplicity, every look that went down the runway exuded high-fashion design.
Naeem Khan is Indian-American fashion designer. As talented as he is, Naeem Khan is known for dressing First lady Michelle Obama, Queen Noor of Jordan and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton. So you can imagine how psyched I was. His collection, as always, was very ornate, intricate and dazzling.
Lastly but not least, Arissa Cheo. Eccentric yet high-fashioned, Arissa Cheo’s ready-to-wear collection is perfect for modern women. All of them were street-style ready – and I love every bits and pieces.
As for the outfit of the day, I was wearing a dress from Suki the Label x Olivia Lazuardy (yes, I collaborated with Suki the Label for a ready-to-wear collection so you can check them out right here). Black, chic and edgy, this dress is one of my favourites. The slit made sexy look – while the bodice kept it subtle. I paired it with a pom-pom hat, clutch, and sneakers to keep style game on point.
