Hello from Singapore!

Two days ago I flew to Singapore to attend Digital Fashion Week 2016. As of the first day, yesterday I watched a show from Chinese couturier: Guo Pei. The Beijing-based Pei designed a bunch of masterpieces since the early ’00 and she got to dress many Chinese celebrities, also the outfit for the 2008 Olympic games.

But the climax was when Rihanna found her collection in 2010 online and reached out to her. Pei admitted that no one wore the dress off the runway before Rihanna, but Rihanna pulled it off.

Personally, I think it was an elaborated dress. But the dress that took 20 months to construct managed to turn so many heads (for obvious reason).

Anyway, the whole show was very interesting. All of the pieces were high-fashioned, and I was loving it.

To watch a fashion show, I always wear something chic and modern, but not over the top. So for yesterday’s outfit of the day, I decided to wear two pieces, putting the spotlight on my skirt. To balance my skirt, I chose an asymmetric, darker coloured top; also paired it with edgy strapped heels from Kurt Geiger.
