I’ve posted about this man several times before. Long story short, he is my boyfriend. But no interesting story is short.

So I’ve decided to make #111LoveStory as a new chapter on this blog to share about my personal love story. It will incorporate my style of fashion and beauty, with a hint of romance. All words will be poured out from deep within my heart. Welcome on board and let’s enjoy this journey together!

We met at a restaurant in Jakarta through one of our mutual friends who introduced us over dinner. My first impression was that he seemed like a nice guy. But there was one thing that bothered me throughout the dinner, his 70’s disco wide jeans. It hurt my eyes and I still vividly remember those jeans. His fashion sense was close to non-existent. One thing’s for sure though, physical appearance was not my top priority (because I knew I would be able to do a total makeover. Challenge accepted!)

I can’t really remember much about that day (apart from that pants), but we ended up swapping contacts anyway. Maybe it was because I was bored and single-ready-to-mingle (as they would say).

Unsurprisingly, I woke up the next morning with a message from him. The first thought that came into my mind was “Another lame and desperate guy I’ve gotten myself involved with again. Dear me!”

To my disbelief, this was his line. “Good Morning. I have diarrhea from the food last night.” and I was like WOW. This guy is something else. Come to think of it, I was so flabbergasted with this greeting that I ended up replying to his messages. I learned later on that this is the ‘shock & awe’ technique. Be warned ladies!

We talked a lot about inconsequential things, just as you would when you first meet a guy. Eventually he asked me out for a date. But to be completely honest, I do not have the slightest interest with this man. What will happen next? Stay tuned.

Also, there is a reason behind the name #111LoveStory, but that is for another time.
