ARMY-INSPIRED TREND FEATURING NEW YORK RAINY DAYS

November 15, 2018

The military-inspired fashion trend has come and gone throughout the past several years. The military feel is usually incorporated through the green colored army jackets – but for my outfit of the day, it is somewhat different.

I translated the ‘army’ part through an oversized shoulder-padded blazer in grey and paired it up with a mini skirt. The key to pairing up a bulky top is to reveal some skin at the lower part of your body – hence the mini skirt. That way, you would still look tall and feminine with a skinny silhouette. I finished the whole look with an army hat and a pair of grey boots.
