Almost 10 months after our wedding day, Kalvin and I finally got the chance to go for our honeymoon – and we decided to go to Australia.

A lot of people asked why Australia and not somewhere like Maldives or Santorini. The reason was simple: I wanted to see where Kalvin grew up. So first we went to Kalvin’s school and walked down his memory lane. Afterward, we went for sightseeing in a lot of different places, including Tasmania.

Our stay in Tasmania was exceptional and memorable. We found a place to stay in Airbnb called Water’s Edge Apartment. Basically, it has one bedroom and one bathroom with gorgeous interior – overlooking the ocean and mountain at the same time. The view was seriously breathtaking.

Tasmania is serene and beautiful on its own. And this Airbnb emphasized on its beauty. It is 15-20 minutes outside of downtown Hobart, but the views make it worthwhile. The host Linda is amazing and super friendly. She got everything prepared for us from a gift and welcome platter on check-in, to suggestions of food, tours, to even name care of doctors in case of emergency.

As one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever had, this is a recommended place to stay in Tasmania.
